1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading the ClawPulse iOS app or using the ClawPulse relay server (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
ClawPulse provides:
- iOS app — collects health and activity data from Apple HealthKit, encrypts it on-device, and uploads it to a relay server.
- Relay server — stores encrypted blobs temporarily and allows authorized agents to retrieve them. Available as a hosted service or self-hostable open-source software.
ClawPulse is designed to work with OpenClaw AI agents, but is not affiliated with or operated by the OpenClaw project.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
4. Your account and token
ClawPulse does not require a traditional account. Instead, you are identified by a randomly generated token (UUID) stored in your device's Keychain. You are solely responsible for:
- Keeping your token and password secure.
- All activity associated with your token.
- Not sharing your token or password with untrusted parties.
If you lose your token or password, encrypted data stored on the relay server cannot be recovered.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, attack, or disrupt the relay server.
- Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights.
- Use the Service to store data that does not originate from your own device.
- Abuse the hosted relay server (e.g., excessive upload frequency, automated flooding).
- Attempt to discover other users' tokens or decrypt other users' data.
6. Health data
ClawPulse accesses Apple HealthKit data only with your explicit permission. You acknowledge that:
- ClawPulse is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.
- Health data insights delivered by AI agents are informational only and should not replace professional medical guidance.
- You are responsible for deciding what health data to share and with whom.
7. Subscriptions and payments
If you subscribe to the hosted relay service through the iOS app:
- Payments are processed by Apple via In-App Purchase. Apple's terms and conditions apply.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policies.
- We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice.
Self-hosting the relay server is always free under the MIT license.
8. Service availability
We provide the hosted relay server on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance, unexpected outages, or infrastructure failures may result in temporary unavailability. We are not liable for data loss or service interruptions.
9. Open source license
The ClawPulse server and iOS app are released under the MIT License. You are free to use, modify, and distribute the software in accordance with that license. These Terms of Service apply to use of the hosted service, not to the open-source software itself.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available. Use the Service at your own risk.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClawPulse and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the hosted relay service for users who violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your data via the app's Nuke button.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date and, where possible, communicated via the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal remedies.
